After his huge sold out tour last year The Game returns to the UK in December to play six exclusive headline shows.
The Game’s arrival on the West Coast rap scene, and consequently around the world, has marked the beginning of a new era in rap music. Selling over 5 million albums worldwide, The Grammy Nominated rapper has starred in major motion pictures and has collaborated with the likes of Dr. Dre, 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg.
Signed to Dr. Dre in the early 2000s, The Game exploded on the music scene in 2004 as the most dynamic member of 50 Cent’s G-Unit collective. With the release of Game’s debut album, 2005’s blockbuster The Documentary, the rapper became the first platinum artist to emerge from the West Coast in several years. In 2006, The Game broke out on his own with his critically acclaimed The Doctor’s Advocate album, the record debuted at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200, selling over 358,000 copies in its first week, making it The Game’s second number one album in a row.
His third album, 2008’s LAX, solidified his status as one of rap’s premier artists, while his next album, 2011’s The R.E.D. Album, became his third album to hit number one on the Billboard 200. Demonstrating his sharp lyricism he proves he is one of the biggest names in rap and one of music’s most interesting artists. With the release of his sixth studio album Blood Moon: Year of The Wolf, the highly anticipated release is the follow up from the 2012 acclaimed Jesus Piece. The new collective album comprises of 15 original tracks and comes complete with a trio of bonus tracks. Guests on the album include the likes of 2 Chainz, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, T.I., Yo Gotti and Young Jeezy.
Returning to the UK this year he will play in Liverpool, Glasgow, Norwich, Bristol, London and Brighton throughout December.
