Also a big congratulations to Jamey and his partner on their new arrival a few weeks back! Blessings!

Singapore Kane is a Boston, MA native heavily influenced by the world around him. At a young age Sing began writing poetry about his life growing up poor but happy, witnessing police brutality and the struggles of the streets. Being of Jamaican descent Sing found himself rapping over reggae beats before finding hip hop, but that later helped define his style as he got older; with the Jamaican American Influence.
Busta Rhymes, Guru, 2pac, Heavy D and Big Daddy Kane were some of his first inspirations; everything from raps to style. Big Shug also played a huge part in Singapore’s career introducing Sing to DJ Premier and Guru. Sing later toured Europe with Shug, Termanology and Special Teams (all Boston natives).
Over the years Sing has worked with DJ Premier, Illmind, Marco Polo, Royce da 5’9, Termanology, Terry Ganzi (Dancehall) and Shinehead (Dancehall) just to name a few.
Singapore Kane’s forthcoming project, ‘Waves N Shades’, features guest spots from Reks, Big Shug and NBS and production from Lee Bannon and Marco Polo.
There’s no disputing that when Pro Green was on the come up his name was commonly circulating within UK Hip Hop circles as a battler and a man with sick bars. He then signed with a big label and his music changed direction, now don’t take it that we’re hating on that…. Big Ups to him. However, with this Fire in Booth session for Charlie Sloth he comes with bars that remind us of his earlier days.
East London rapper Richie Saps releases his second solo EP entitled ‘Third Space’. The four track EP represents the creative strides taken since the previous solo EP and delivers a short but sweet variety of moments.
The EP includes songs such as ‘5 panel‘ which features Jay Prince, a very smooth and laid back track to immerse yourself in. It also includes the track ‘Shiki Fuujin’, a head bop inducing song that is sure to further your interest.
