First Dirt started as an idea. It has transformed into a movement, a lifestyle, & a group. First Dirt is a collective of 3 hip hop emcees… (Timothy Rhyme, 60 East, Rymeezee) and 3 producers (Leksbeat, Phil The Pain, Nay The Producer) hailing from all over the States. This fact gives the group a unique blend of music and personalities. Sacramento, SF, LA and Boston. Bringing it from the ground up!

After an incredible response from their first mixtape as a collective, First Dirt decided to return with ‘The Classic Mixtape Volume 2’. The mixtape, which is the 2nd part of the ongoing Series, serves as a sample of what fans will hear on their debut album titled “First Class” set to be released in 2015.
The project sees all the members of FD contributing. It features artists from all over the USA that they have had the pleasure to work with. Presented by Heavyweights Radio and Hosted by Da MadHouze. The mixtape is mixed by DJ ReadyCee out of Brooklyn, NY. Sit back, relax and enjoy the project…

Yesterday evening brought about the sad news that veteran UK emcee Gemini of legendary Hip Hop crew Hardnoise had passed away. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Hardnoise and Gemini’s mic prowess were one of the key factors of why my love for Hip Hop grew more into an obsession. They truly were pioneers in the UK Hip Hop scene in the early nineties and helped shape this teenage youth into the Hip Hop nerd I am and create the foundations for so many artists today.

I wont bore you with words instead celebrate his music with these clips. REST IN POWER brother!
