Action Bronson has announced his return to the UK with five select headline dates, which will see Bronson performing in Manchester, Liverpool, Bristol, Birmingham and London.
Hailing from Flushing, Queens, Action Bronson is one of the most iconic rap artists currently recording and performing. Prior to his musical career, Arian Asllani, a.k.a. Action Bronson, was a respected gourmet chef in New York, and his passion for food and cooking continues to pervade into his musical output.
Bronson’s swift rise to prominence was galvanized last year by his signing to Atlantic Records/Vice Records. Following this signing Action Bronson released his critically acclaimed ‘Saaab Stories’ EP in June 2013, which was produced in its entirety by notable producer Harry Fraud and saw guest appearances from Raekwon, Wiz Khalifa, and Prodigy.
Renowned for his rambunctious live performances, Bronson’s previous shows in the UK have all been sell outs and have left a lasting impact on audience members. With no consideration for the assumed ‘fourth wall’, Bronson regularly crashes off stage into stage dives and crowd surfing, along with the experience of a conga line or two not being out of the ordinary. There is no doubt that the huge praise Bronson has received for his releases is translated to his truly engaging and unforgettable live performances.
In anticipation of his debut major label album, which is due to land this year, the release of Bronson’s latest mixtape ‘Blue Chips 2’ received very positive reviews across the board and was named XXL Mag’s 4th Best Mixtape of 2013
After recently confirming to Rolling Stone Magazine that both Kool G Rap and Mobb Deep will feature on his upcoming album, Action Bronson’s return to the UK is set to be a very special event.
As a thank you to their fans, Duckdown Records are starting a new series called ‘Revisit,’ where they’ll be making select albums available for free for a limited time. Up first is ‘The Best of Boot Camp Clik Freestyles.’ Download the Mixtape for FREE with the tracks separated here: http://t.opsp.in/h1yTM.
