Chicago rapper A-Hi has just released the video for ‘Carpe Diem’. This song is a reflection of opportunity and looks to encourage all those in pursuit of their dreams. The video itself is inspired by Miguel’s “Do You”. This is the second single off of his upcoming album, ‘Skywalkers’, featuring Berner, Alex Wiley, Ya Boy Rich Rocka, and Vic Spencer among others.

Today Devine Carama, an indie artist from Lexington, KY is continuing with his Music Monday series as well as recognizing MLK Day with a visual for a track entitled “Martin Didn’t Die For This” which will land on his upcoming EP, ‘The Dream Walker’, which drops next month. Raddiculous Productions, who also produced the song, directed the image driven music video that Devine Carama hopes puts some things into perspective for these young cats.
Devine Carama explains “Whether its the sacrifice that Martin Luther King and many others made for the advancement and progress of this generation or the history Barack Obama made in becoming the first black president, it seems many of us are attempting to denigrate that progress instead of continuing to advance it. Seeing flyer’s with MLK’s image on it throwing up gang signs with gold chains around his neck this past weekend was it for me.. That frustration led to this track and visual.”
