Berlin Jazz musician / beatmaker Stan Forebee debuts to the world with his first album “Jazz Sessions”. The record has been released by Digi Crates Records (Tokyo / New York), and consists of a Limited CD edition and a Digital release.
“Jazz Sessions” is a dedication / tribute to the legendary jazz pianist Bill Evans (who worked with musicians like Miles Davis, John Coltrane and repeatedly occurs on this record) and to Stan’s father, who has had a great influence on his taste in jazz and classical music. The record has to be described as jazzy, soulful beats, and it’s reminiscent of production from the likes of J Dilla, Madlib & Nujabes.

jCrizzy’s “Late Night Shift” is a glimpse into the life of your everyday dreamer. This life demands many things of us all, and we often forget that our time is borrowed. Each record aims to take us away from our current conundrums and shifts us into a wild world of late night adventures, ultimate highs, first loves, and deep reflection.
You cant fault jCrizzy’s lyricism and flow on this record, however if you are a regular to Hip Hop Life and Times you will know i’m not a fan of the use of auto tune and if man’s been critical there’s a definite over use throughout the production on this joint, but hey this is just my opinion, you may disagree and if you look past that criticism and concentrate on jCrizzys lyrics its a solid release.
