West London’s Apex Zero releases his debut album “Reality Provoking Liberation” on 28th October and today marks the 2nd anniversary of the London riots by launching this new video “Chaotic Revolt” filmed by GlobalFaction.
One half of the city’s First & Last duo, he’s released a series of mixtapes and was a regular performer at the renowned End of the Weak / Speakers Corner nights, performing at the EOW World Finals in Berlin in 2010.
The album includes features from Triple Darkness’ newest member Iron Braydz, Amy True from Caxton Press, London’s Invincible Armour and Hasan Salaam. His fierce flow style and subject matter throughout the album are in the best traditions of conscientious hip hop, intelligent rhymes & wordplay over almost entirely self produced beats with additional contributions from DJ Fortune and Omeziah
Citing influences which include Wu Tang, Immortal Technique, Pharoahe Monch, Skinnyman and Klashnekoff, he’s studied some of the best in the business to develop his own identity and style, and has become one of the most impressive new figures on the scene today.

At Soundcrash they couldn’t be more excited about welcoming the premier LOW END THEORY club night to London town. The hype out there is huge right now and having 4 of the residents of the seminal LA club night coming to play in person (Daddy Kev, Nocando, DJ Nobody, D-Styles) makes it a very special occasion indeed.
On another note we are very saddened to hear about the fifth resident Gaslamp Killer’s recent major road accident that has left him seriously injured and unable to travel.
Perhaps an indication as to the all round respect that the music community has for GLK is the fact that one of the greatest figures in the world of experimental hip hop has stepped into cover Gaslamp’s set at LET. That’s right none other than DOOM (MF Doom, Viktor Vaughn, King Geedorah, Madvillain – with Madlib, Danger Doom with Danger Mouse, much more) has agreed to play in GLK’s absence next week.
We all wish the very best to GLK’s speedy recovery!
