Now based in Los Angeles since switching coasts from Greensboro NC, ethemadassassin is back with his first solo album in nearly 5 years.
His previous album “Tomorrow Never Comes” included the single “Walk My Shoes” which reached No.3 in the Rap Network Charts and the video for which was playlisted on the UK’s MTV Base & Flava TV.
Since then he formed the hip hop duo “Veteran Assassins” with his long time sparring partner Veteran Eye, releasing 2 albums and touring the west coast with Project Blowed’s Kandi Cole, but he’s back in his own right with his firebrand lyricism on the new album “Soul on Fire” which releases on R Steel Entertainment on 17th September.
He’s reached out internationally, working with producers from France, UK, Japan and the States and the resulting 13 tracks are packed full of hard driving beats blended with soul, rock, reggae & turntablism. E’s lost none of the passion in his rhymes, and the wordplay is on point throughout.
The first official single released is “Tiger Blade”. Look out for more singles, videos and news over the summer.

Fresh off of the road from performing in a slew of cities in the Pacific Northwest for IMTour/Here I Am Tour with Maulskull and Scarab, (as Stay Tuned with Deejay Tense), Mane Rok is back with even more top tier music. ‘Murder He Wrote’, a conceptual album about the mind and makings of a serial killer was the first release in a series of headnodic sounds we’ll be hearing from the Denver native throughout the summer. ‘Elite Philosophy Presents: The GemInI’ features Ichiban, InkLine and Mane Rok. An astrological trifecta, if you will, the album is available for download below.
Initially titled, Twin Geminorum Complex, this project is the brainchild of all three MC’s. After shelving the project for some time, the newest inception is even more succinct than the guys could have imagined. InkLine is the Pollux to Mane Rok’s Castor; the beta to his Alpha, in that the two bookend the Gemini season (Mane Rok 5/21, InkLine 6/20).
Using The GemInI as a reintroduction to InkLine who was released from prison in early May, the pairing with crew member Ichiban places even more emphasis on the historic sentiment of the project. There are talks of releasing an EP of this sort annually. Stay Tuned…
Track Listing;
1. Young Guns
2. Galileo’s Dilemma (Ichiban Solo)
3. Question
4. Universes & Hooks (InkLine Solo)
5. Castor & Pollux Ft. Qwel & Supastition
6. Get Up! (Mane Rok Solo)
