Hailing from North West London, 22-year-old Tevyn has been singing since his primary school days, but took up rapping in his late teens and has since turned to music for self expression.
Tevyn J uses ‘Know Me’ to give listeners a glimpse into his behaviour, thoughts and way of life. Along the lines of “don’t judge a book by it’s cover,” Tevyn employs the chorus to outline the importance of looking beyond the surface. The song is taken from his forthcoming mixtape, ‘Then And Now’, which aims to show the difference between his younger mind state and his current one; along with opening eyes and minds along the journey.
Despite prior planning to collaborate with another MC, Tevyn J instead teams up with Minarmy & Birmingham resident SNY for the production and vocals the entire track himself.
