Singer, rapper, songwriter and performer Michelle Perry aka Mish Da Fyah Sis has dropped her brand new single ‘Bad Gyal’ featuring Pascal. Already getting championed from leading blogs in the UK and the USA, as well as her music getting solid feedback from the likes of Chris Goldfinger from BBC Radio One and Ben Price of Live’N’Unsigned. This explosive urban anthem is produced by Tim Fury and comes with an excellent music video. Its now wonder people are getting up on this talented Derby born artist.
As a child, Mish listened to reggae, R&B, Hip Hop and Soul which was always being played around her as music was a central part of the home as her older brother is UK Rap legend Yogi who dropped the classic ‘Jamaica Child’ over a decade ago. The musicality is definitely in the family blood, so its no surprise when we tell you that Mish wrote and performed her first song ‘Biddy Bee’ at the tender age of six! She performed the track on her first ever stage appearance and used the song to win a local talent contest in 1989.
After years of crafting her art, Mish Da Fyah Sis finally dropped her debut mixtape ‘Fyah Brigade’ on DatPiff.com last year. The underground response was immense and she immediately got back in the studio to start working on a selection of original tracks. ‘Bad Gyal’ is the jump off track from her forthcoming EP release ‘Roll Like Dem’ which all acts as a build up to her debut album. The future is looking bright for this talented songstress.
