Lost Alliance are Wolverhampton rappers & producers Hot Rox and Pact Prolific. Their first release was a self-titled EP in 2010 which was followed up by ‘The Second Coming’ a year later. This EP had music videos for the tracks ‘Spotlight’ and ‘In My Mind’, two tracks that still rock the spot at even now at live shows. In May 2012 they where involved in the collaborative EP ‘Business Amongst Men’ with fellow Wolverhampton recording artist Charlie Bwoy H which again was well received by Hip-Hop fans. Lost Alliance are true to the essence of real Hip-Hop with a trademark Boom-Bap sound and raw but conscious lyrics.
In the summer of 2012 Hot Rox & Pact hooked up with UK Runnings mixtape deejay & producer Tricksta, to discuss plans for their new album. This was the start of a connection that led to Lost Alliance being booked for Tricksta’s Hip-Hop events Beats & Bars and Live & Direct where Lost Alliance shared stages with the likes of Rodney P, Blak Twang, Mystro, Ty, Moorish Delta 7, Iron Braydz, Genesis Elijah, AC, Big Dutty Deeze, FDot1 and many more. Tricksta also got chosen as the official mixtape deejay to host & mix ‘Dare 2 Win’ which came out through UK Runnings in March, as well as Tricksta being commissioned to mix and master the Lost Alliance debut album ‘Life Cycle’.
Lost Alliance have been making noise on the internet two with exclusive freestyles/performances for Chromosome Live Lab, Urban Vibe UK, Big Fingz TV and B-iLLA TV, as well as featuring on over fifty of the leading UK blogs and having a strong local fan base. Now as they drop their debut album ‘Life Cycle’ the future looks so bright with performances planned this summer in Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Leamington Spa, Luton, London and more.
