Once again The Doctor’s Orders brings Hip-Hop’s underground heroes to the fore with what is sure to be yet another royal knees up!
Critically acclaimed New York based rapper-producer-DJ-historian Edan made a dent on the underground Hip-Hop scene in 1999 with the twelve-inch ‘Sing it Shitface’, but it wasn’t until his first release on Lewis Recordings that he garnered interest from both rock and Hip-Hop circles first in the UK then later, in his native US and around the world.
Primitive Plus introduced Edan’s unique and irreverent take on Hip-Hop’s past while his next album ‘Beauty And The Beat’ saw him successfully incorporating elements of 60’s psychedelia. Both albums were showered with praise, cementing Edan’s reputation as one of the most daring and adventurous artists in modern day Hip-Hop. He joins us for a 2 hour DJ set and PA alongside new partner in Rhyme Oxygen.
As ever setting the party alight as they always do are the strongest line up of residents in London in the shape of Mr Thing, Spin Doctor, Chris P Cuts and Mo Fingaz who will be taking you on an exciting, fuelled journey through two floors of Hip-Hop, Soul, Reggae and beyond at this massively popular unpretentious party.
