This was Reveals first time presenting an academic paper and he made a few statements he’d like to clarify before the trolls attack!
1. He meant to say the Iran-Iraq war that began in 1980 and ended in 1988, not just the 1988 war.
2. He did not mean to suggest that the mixing of sexes, drinking and dogs does not exist in Iran, rather that it would not be visible in everyday life on the street.
3. He knows that Ekhtelaf doesn’t directly translate as Conflict. Disparity or Difference would be more accurate, but in the short space of time he had, he felt the track title and feel would be best summarized in this way.
