Teacher and student connect on “The Movie Life,” the new collaboration between Wu Gambino Raekwon and his Ice H20 Records signee, Ceazar. The track opens with a typically tough verse from The Chef, who then makes way for his Staten Island understudy to unleash his own lethal lyrics over the muffled yet majestic instrumental. “The Movie Life” serves as an early sample of Ceazar’s DJ Whoo Kid-hosted mixtape, Render The Throne, which will be released on 6-03-2013.

The Boomjacks is a Finnish beatmaking duo consisting of two brothers known as Jyri and Villejam. Their music could be characterised as eclectic hip hop and boom bap. It’s basis is on heavy sampling and hard hitting drums. The Boomjacks – ‘Butter & Jam’, takes a dive in to the realms of jazz and funk, they were inspired by jazz-funk records and their visuals. The release is available on their Bandcamp for free/pay what you want.
They’ve also released it in a physical format. The CD release is strictly limited to 50 copies.
