This album deserves a whole lot more hype and promotion than it’s received. ‘Gotham’ is only a taster and it’s better than a majority of more well-known and hyped artists I’ve heard recently. We’ve promoted these guys before, but you need to take our word for it and give them a serious listen. Honestly, I haven’t heard a group or rapper take hip-hop in this direction for a long time, especially when it comes to Rain’s production. It’s weird, almost computer game-esqe but firmly rooted in tasty drum beats and a healthy dose of scratching. I know it’s only January but I’m already reserving a place in my top 5 hip-hop records for this release. No exaggeration, and no gassing this is all true. Hop on the bandwagon. I could say for fans of, but they’re all pretty different so here’s 5 to give you an idea, kind of:
Aesop Rock, Ant (Atmosphere), Cunninlynguists, Ryan Lewis, Blue Scholars.

For those of you that are super students then you may remember when we posted a video featuring Kb Da Boss, and we got so excited and told you all go out and buy it. Well this is a track from Kb featuring Sucoo; it’s a smooth paced track using the beat from Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Blow My High’, with some pretty funny wordplay from both Succo and Kb.

Feel as though, you should probably enjoy this because it’s Psalm One on a joint with Neak that says it all. Don’t worry though, for those of you that aren’t too cool for school like us (too much knowledge for college too), this is well-versed and clever track for fans of Trek Life, Grieves.(Seriously though, c’om man it’s Psalm One).
