‘The Message’ is a very dark and extremely macabre song, that is unapologetically Orwellian in content (you can check the soundclip if you need convincing). It’s an intense and relentless track that critiques and analyses the socio and political situation that the world is currently sinking in. This isn’t a preachy track, and anyone that tries to glaze over it by saying it’s too righteous or conscience is an idiot. Although if you want that kind of review, you probably shouldn’t be on this site.
Daze isn’t telling you what to do, or how to achieve world peace tomorrow, he’s simply pointing out some more obvious flaws within humanity that we like to ignore.
