‘Fatherhood’ is both the final video from ‘The Kinesis Thesis Vol. III’ and a preview to London emcee K.I.N.E.T.I.K’s upcoming album with KUROISOUL titled, ‘Hip Hop Is Forever’, due for release on Bass & Format later this year.
Mainly inspired by recent events in his family life, Fatherhood looks at the potentially devastating effects that absent/inactive fathers can have on the lives of their children and the family unit as a whole.
K.I.N.E.T.I.C said about the song ” I wanted to channel the spirit of songs that share a similar sentiment such as Dear Mama by 2 Pac, Retrospect For Life by Common and Be A Father To Your Child by Edo G. All of these songs contain powerful messages and it is my hope that Fatherhood further reinforces the fact that as men, we need to teach our sons how to be good men and teach our daughters how to pick a good man.”
The video was directed by Nitevisions and features acting performances from Cherelle Morris, Enakhe Ogumah and their beautiful daughter, Sanai.
