You know we’re always honest over here at HHLAT, which is why when we get sent baaaaddd music we don’t even let it go further than our inbox. That’s right we’re always looking after YOUR interests, aren’t we just so nice? With all of that in to consideration, we can still appreciate when a group/MC/DJ/producer is good, even when they’ve mixed their skills with something that doesn’t properly showcase their talents.
This next track is a good example. Both Sincerely Yours, and Neak and Slot-A are talented MCs, and have a whole heap of interesting flow, and know how to tell a good narrative, sadly the production just doesn’t fit them. No hate to the producer whatsoever because I know they never get enough recognition, I’d just like to hear less triple snares and synths on this one. That being said, this song is still really good and needs a full listen as there are some nice production cuts and breaks that go nicely, not to mention the two MCs obvious talents.
