Back at The Book Club once again to represent for the ladies, The Doctor’s Orders present another of their ‘Queens of Hip-Hop’ parties with their strongest all female line up to date. Set to keep the dance-floor bumping all night and prove that anything guys can do girls can do better are a dream team of both established and emerging talent!
Headlining they have the incomparable Sarah Love who since her early days spinning for Kung Fu has firmly established herself as ‘the first lady of Hip-Hop’. The self-proclaimed ‘one woman worldwide wrecking machine’ established herself not only as an incredible club DJ but also a first class presenter with work for both MTV and BBC but it is in her favourite place behind that we have her rocking tonight.
Clara Amfo has been the voice of music for a minute now with her prime time Kiss FM weekday shows and presenting MTV’s chart shows. She is now making an effortless slide from the studio to the club and putting a face to the voice and music with firing party sets.
Florence & The Machine may not be the first name you think of when it comes to Hip-Hop however Isa ‘Machine’ Summers, keyboardist and writer for the chart toppers, cut her teeth on the music scene as a Hip-Hop obsessed DJ and producer working with many of the UK’s finest and remixing for the likes of Beyonce. She takes a night off her manic touring schedule to jump back behind the decks for this rare DJ set.
Back once again they have the brilliant Chery Ice who did such a brilliant job warming up the crowd last time she has eased her way up the bill! She’s joined by Beanz who is a regular at The Doctor’s Orders events and helps produce TheFunhouseTV.com but now makes her debut on the decks for them as they keep things funky & female with The Queens of Hip-Hop.
