In case you weren’t aware, this site is pretty much run by myself (Aimee) and Stix who is the owner and editor. We originally worked for a UK hip-hop site called Stand Up UK but when Stix decided to leave and start his own site, I didn’t feel right working without him so I jumped ship too, and here we are 14 months later. That’s a long story cut short.
Stix has had a string of bad luck recently, but regardless of that he’s still been solidering on when a lot other people would give up and stay in bed for the rest of their lives. A testament to his character and determination. Besides being my friend and saviour of hip-hop everywhere (haha well that last part might be a bit exaggerated) he’s also a son, and sadly he lost his dad a whole back. Today is his dad’s Birthday and I’d like to take this opportunity to send some love to Stix and his family. Much blessings and prayers fam 🙂
