One of my personal favourite new groups, the Astroid Boys. From the shinny shores of Cardiff Wales, my old ends (well before I lost my job and had to move back to my mum’s crib in Bristol. Shout-outs to all my jobless post-graduates). They mix just the right amount of hip-hop, grime, dubstep and hardcore punk to come out with something original and well, fucking rad. They’re one of the rare bands in hip-hop that can just as easily play at a rap show, as they can at a punk rock show and do it without all the cheesiness. This is something I really strongly suggest you check out.
