The 17th is an artist that we’ve featured before with a wonderfully entitled track called ‘Rubbish’ that guest stared Fokis and Spoke In Wordz, which was about the current state of commercial radio-rap. Now he’s back with his free EP, with the aptly titled ‘Free Music’. It’s a release from a man that isn’t from the hood, doesn’t have any guns, never sold drugs in his life and makes music that is probably more real than half of the stuff out there. No you don’t need to clap guns son. This is a really solid release, and the more I listen to The 17th, the bigger fan I become. ‘Rubbish’ is a great song, but after listening to the whole EP, it’s not even his best track you really need to get your little paws on this. We’ll defaintely be featuring him in the future, maybe even on our podcast.
For fans of Pacewon, Murs, Tonedeff, Diabolic.
