A little a gem to come out of the BLESTeNATION camp. These New York natives have been pretty quiet for far too long, and I was all but giving up on seeing them release another record (some dude was seriously selling their early album for $66 on Amazon, sheesh!) Werdplay, one quarter of the hip-hop three has just released a cheeky rough track called ‘Love To Hater’. Now whether he”ll put out anything else on his own or with BLESTe is anyone’s guess but here’s a little something to tide you over regardless. If you share the video, then you can get the download of the track for free. Seems like a fair deal to me.
We’ve just been told some sad news this evening. Young Chicago MC, John Vietnam sadly passed away last Thursday when out swimming with some friends, one of his friends got entangled and in trying to save their life he lost his. John was only young, but he had so much potential and the skill to take him places. I only found out about him through Configa’s freestyle competition but John had been killing it for a long while before he even won the competition, despite being only 19 years old. I’m sad that I didn’t get on his music a long time ago because he had real style, and real talent. Check his videos and free download links to see what we’re talking about.
