Adam ‘MCA’ Yauch from the legendary Bestie Boys sadly passed away today. He had been battling cancer since 2009, but sadly lost the fight to it today. This is a complete shock, and I’m posting this for people who haven’t been made aware yet but I still don’t quite believe it myself. I just spoke to my boy, hopping it was a rumor but it’s sadly true. As I’m sure you’re all aware MCA and the Beastie Boys are some of the Godfathers of hip-hop and helped shape what it is today. I hope that whether you were a fan of them or not, you will take a moment to say a prayer for Adam and his family today.
May he rest in peace.
