Fresh from the deepest darkest Northern borders, come Leeds based ‘Defenders Of Style. I first heard DOS back in July of 2011 when they put out the video for ‘Fish In A Barrel’, and instant head nodder track. Their style is heavy in every sense, production, beats and lyrically. Dirty Sterling is the latest release from these guys, and “is a 14 track mixtape spawned from the underbelly of the economic slump”. Sounds about right, in keeping with the roots of hip-hop eh?
