Signed to renowned Jazz label “Owl Studios”, Jaecyn Bayne’s debut LP, ‘Audio Therapy’ is expected for a 24-04-2012 release date and will feature guest appearances from Styles P, Fred the Godson, Canibus & Keith Murray alongside production from Streetrunner and Bronze Nazareth among others.
In addition, to the release of his debut LP, Bayne will also be releasing a free mixtape and Audio Therapy’s first video “Family Thang” which is expected to debut in March.

You know how sometimes you discover an artist, band, MC or whatever it is and you read all about them and get all excited think “man you sound like you’re gonna be cool as fuck”. Then you finally listen to them, and it’s a big dead fish in speakers. All that hype and interest for nothing! Fuck, you were only seconds away from adding them to your top 15 ever, ever; but now. Psssh you let me down.
Well, well imagine my happiness and surprise when after reading the little publicist and promoters paragraph Ricta actually came through. I’ll be honest and say I kinda loved him just a little before I listened to him just because he’s a graff kid and so am I, but then again it could have easily worked against him if he’d sucked worse than…Well I’m sure you can think of a good enough metaphor.
Ricta is the real deal. You can hear his obvious New York influences without being a biter (despite being from the dirty streets of Coventry); he’s clear, articulated and clever. Boy’s got flow, real talent and has been running his own indie label Back Beat Records for quite some time. Plus, Jabba Tha Kut said he liked him and I’m a fangirl so I take it seriously. I’m backing this dude 100% for 2012. Get stoked on it before the world ends! (You know for all my jokes about the coming apocalypse jokes on me if it really does).
