Dan Nunn, AKA Envious Mind, is a South London born turntablist and South Coast UK DMC DJ champion 2011 has played across the UK; London, Bristol, Sheffield, Edinburgh to Stockholm and Gothenburg in Sweden sharing the stage with acts including Mixmaster Mike, Q-Bert, Grandmaster Flash, Shiftee, Scratch Perverts, Yoda, JS-One (Rahzel’s DJ), Chemical Brothers, Benga, C2C, Skream, Nero, Chase Status, Pendulum, High Contrast and DJ Hype.
Envious Mind, now residing in Southampton and playing at venues across the city and is signed to record label Chess Move Cartel. Collaborating with producers such as Buckwilde, Just Blaze, Dilated Peoples, Wu-Tang and Mobb Deep, Chess Move Cartel are establishing themselves as having a strong influence on today’s Hip Hop industry. Providing the label with Hip Hop beats and his own personal spin on turntablism, Envious Mind is currently working on his first album, set to feature artists from all over the globe.
