London local and Think Zebra family member, Skrabl released his full-length ‘Same You Different Me’ over the weekend, and it’s already blowing up speakers and tiny minds alike. ‘Same You..’ is a pretty eclectic and varied offering from Skrabl, and it’s going to keep the UKHH nerds happy, as well as add a few extra fans for good measure. It also features some UKHH favourites like Jam Baxter and Triple Dot Beast, who are the only two guests on the record. The production duties are juggled between Growbeats and Oozhe, who play off each other really well, and keep the sounds fresh and unpredictable.
Also, because the album artwork never gets enough attention let’s all give ourselves a second or two to appreciate how fucking rad it is. Greg Blackman Illustration is the dude behind it, and it’s some of my favourite cover design to come out in a very long time.
This album’s ‘Name Your Price’, which means you can pay as little or as much as you want. Although, if you really support your music scene and you’d rather give a broke artist some money, instead of getting that overpriced coffee you’ll part with a few pennies for this.
For fans of Dirty Dike, Farma G, Jam Baxter (I know right).
In case you were wondering who Think Zebra are, they’re a independent clothing company straight outta Swansea, South Wales, supporting hardworking artists, like Dirty Dike and Dr Syntax. Go take a look and wonder no more. Think Zebra Apparel.
